January 8, 2010 : IRASHAI!! Here's to the Grand Re-Opening!!

Like so many others, my old website went belly up when Yahoo! decided to shut down Geocities. It had been quite a while since I'd updated in the first place, so I wasn't terribly inclined to take up the mantle of maintaining a website once more. It was fun at first, but like anyone who's doing the programming all on their lonesome can tell you, it's also a lot of work...and real life hasn't left me all that much time to really pursue a hobby that requires that much effort.

However, like an ex that knows all your magic places, I just couldn't resist the allure of trying my hand at it when the itch came back.

I can't promise to update regularly, muses are fickle beings, but I will try. This will most likely result in drabbles and random silliness, but hopefully it will all be fun.

If you've made your way here after knowing my old site, you'll notice that things have changed quite a bit. I took a couple days to try and figure out frames, so hopefully the Playroom version 2.0 will be prettier, sleeker, and easier to navigate. I'm new to this kind of coding though, so please forgive me if you encounter any broken links or odd looking pages as I slowly get things up and running again.

You might also notice that a few stories are missing. I'm afraid I lost quite a bit of information while trying to save the old pages. I'm too used to having the Recycle Bin to catch me when I get too click happy deleting old files. There is no such safety net on a thumb drive, a lesson I've learned the hard way. Much of it was my heterosexual stories, which were no big loss I assure you. Still there were a few collaborations that I was fond of that I'd like to see back on. I'll need a new DVD drive to search my old archives to see if they can be rescued. If not... c'est la vie. I'll just have to fill the void with new stories.
